A woman intentionally coughed up all the fruit and vegetables in a Gerrity's Supermarket in the city of Hanover, Pennsylvania. The woman entered the store and started coughing on fruit, vegetables, baked goods, meat and other groceries, wrote Joe Fasula, co-owner of the supermarket. The staff immediately dismissed the woman and called the police, who tracked her down a few hours later and arrested her.
The woman allegedly "contaminated" the food and a criminal criminal complaint will be filed against her after she is subjected to psychic expertise, and may be accused of terrorism. The reason for the woman's gesture is not clear, but it is thought to have been a "joke".
Authorities do not believe that the woman has been infected with the coronavirus, but will ensure that she is tested.
The shop was forced to throw away all the goods, for a value of 35,000 dollars (over 31,000 euros), with which the woman came into contact and sanitized the area.
