The Radfords, record parents with 21 children, a year ago said: "We are happy but now we stop" and instead in April 2020 they will welcome their twenty-second child. Sue Radford, 44, and Noel, 48, with their 21 (for now) children live in Morecambe, Lancashire, and broke the news on September 29th with a video posted on YouTube saying they can't wait for it the child is born and they are "very excited".
In the clip you can see Sue, three months pregnant, doing an ultrasound scan and feeling the heartbeat of the future unborn child. They don't know if it will be a boy or a girl, but Oscar, one of the children, says in the video that he wants a little sister.
The Radfords, who run a cake business, live in a four-story Victorian home, a former nursing home, which they bought about 15 years ago. They became famous in 2012 with a documentary broadcast on Channel 4, "15 Kids and Counting".
In addition to Sue and Noel, the largest British family is Chris, 30, Sophie, 25, Chloe, 23, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 16, James, 15, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, 9, Oscar, 7, Casper, 6, Hallie, 3, Phoebe, 2, Archie 18 months and Bonnie the last eight-month born after only 12 minutes of labor.
