The city of London, Tuesday 24 September, was hit by heavy thunderstorms that flooded several subway stations. Hundreds of people remained on foot waiting for the arrival of the blocked wagons of the train due to failure of the track circuits. Some users filmed the water outside a waterfall from the columns of Liverpool Street station: a barefoot boy carried his partner in his arms to cross the completely flooded Moorgate station.
Torrential rain hit London in the rush hour. A spokesman for the rail network said: "We apologize to passengers whose trips have been affected by floods at Liverpool Street station."
