Royal sources say Prince Andrew is willing to co-operate with police probing the alleged sex crimes of his paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duke of York insists he neither saw nor suspected criminal behaviour while spending time with the billionaire financier – who died aged 66 in a New York jail earlier this month in an apparent suicide.
Epstein was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges and lawyers for his alleged victims had urged the Duke to tell what he knows.
Sources at Buckingham Palace say he will now speak to police “if asked” – but the palace did not comment.
Meanwhile, Manhattan Judge Richard Berman is expected to dismiss the criminal case against Epstein today.
But he will first allow people to speak in court – and lawyer Gloria Allred has said she plans to attend with an unspecified number of new accusers.
They all reportedly intend to file lawsuits against the depraved financier’s estate.
