A police officer is stabbed at the beach by an abusive salesperson in front of dozens of people. It happens in Punt Umbria near Huelva in Andalusia, southwest of Spain. Antonio Garrido received three stab wounds during an action to repress illegal food and drink on the beach: colleagues have just blocked the seller who is not there and lashes out against the agreement.
A scuffle is born and the two end up on people who are under an umbrella that describes howling for fear. The man is finally stopped by the other agents a few moments before the worst happens: as the Daily Mail tells, the salesman had pointed the knife a few centimeters from Garrido's face.
The fact happens while other police officers prevent another vendor from escaping. In the handcuffs, they ended up in total three: the murder charge, a man and a woman accused of selling drinks and food without a license.
The police chief visited the colleague at the Juan Ramon Jimenez hospital in Huelva. His condition is considered stable since the knife did not hit any vital organ.
