For over 5 months they remained buried in the snow of the glacier on Mount Rutor, right there where on the 25th of January seven people lost their lives in the clash between a tourist plane departed from Megève, in France, and a helicopter of heliski with base at Courmayeur. To return the images of the tragedy are now two GoPro, two wearable cameras, found at the crash site, by research teams brought to the scene by a Guardia di Finanza helicopter.
According to what has been learned, the shots support - from two different angles - the investigators' thesis: the clash took place in the air, in a place where the French plane should not have been. Also found a notebook of the pilot of the helicopter Maurizio Scarpelli who died in the accident, in which he had pinned the time - 14.18 - of the last rotation before the accident.
The images, recovered by the Fiamme Gialle have been deposited in the Public Prosecutor's Office, which has already requested the immediate judgment for Philippe Michelle, the French pilot of the tourist plane carrying two students, both died in the crash along with the 5 occupants of the helicopter.
