- Among all the non-European countries, Mexico is in my opinion the richest in attractions, it can satisfy the expectations of every type of tourist. It will satisfy the desires of those looking for fascinating and impressive archaeological sites, cities rich in art and history, natural parks and ecological reserves, calm Caribbean sea and wavy ocean for sports enthusiasts, sunny beaches, rocky mountains and valleys, boundless deserts, museums and picture galleries , romantic colonial architecture and futuristic contemporary architecture.
- You can travel around the country independently. A large number of hotels of all costs and levels and a widespread network of efficient and cheap public transport offer anyone the opportunity to organize their own journey by creating a personalized itinerary.
- Archaeological Mexico offers an extraordinary number of sites. In addition to the Mayan cities, which apart from the very famous Chichen Itzà, Tulum and Palenque are dozens and all remarkable, there are sites scattered throughout the country to witness many other pre-Columbian cultures. Especially not to be missed is the spectacular and grandiose site of Teotihuacán, fifty kilometers from the capital.
- Beach or rock? You can choose to bask on the white sands of the Caribbean and bathe in a cove with hot water like that of our bathtub or dive into the cool waves of the ocean in one of the beautiful beaches of the Pacific, a surfer's paradise of all world. Limiting yourself to the Yucatan means losing the beauties of Mazunte, Puerto Escondido, Barra de Navidad, Zipolite, to mention just a few locations.
- The colonial architecture is second to none, the beauties of Morelia, Puebla, Queretaro, Taxco, evoke a romantic and revolutionary Mexico in which the shadow of Pancho Villa and the myth of El Zorro still lingers. For painting lovers, Diego Rivera's murals and Frida Kahlo's canvases are a must-see in the journey.
- Mexico City is the largest city in the world: "El monstruo" is an enormity of more than 20 million inhabitants where there are lively and very liveable neighborhoods such as Coyoacàn, Rome and La Condesa, very pleasant restaurants and bars, unmissable museums ( museum of anthropology) and impressive archaeological remains (Great Pyramid), and the very interesting museum houses of Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Trotsky. Not to forget the markets: San Angel on Saturday and La Lagunilla on Sunday just to mention the biggest.
- Mexican cuisine is an explosion of flavors. Forget the limited Tex-Mex variant to savor tortillas used in all variations and with every possible change, of meat and fish, such as tacos, quesadillas, sincronizadas. Taste the sweet and savory tamales, the stuffed peppers (chiles), the raw fish marinated in lime (ceviche), the prawns (camarones) and the octopus cooked in so many ways, and ... I stop to not let you faint with desire!
- Mexican craftsmanship is colorful and creative and offers an infinite number of objects, delicious travel memories, and beautiful and usable clothing. Many types of ceramics, leather items (boots and belts), silver and gold jewelry, braided rope amacas. Among the clothes on sale in the Indian markets there are huipiles, white blouses embroidered with floral motifs, rebozos, looms of wool or cotton woven in a frame with harmonious colors and braided leather shoes
The sombreros of felt or straw are as beautiful as those of the best western films and the guyaberas, the very fine white masculine shirts, fresh and elegant.
- The vastness and environmental variety of the country offers a number of climatic and landscape areas and allows you to visit Mexico at any time of the year. Even in the height of summer, if the Yucatàn is too hot and humid, the areas of the plateau offer pleasantly cool nights and in winter you can find a beach in the south of the country where you can sunbathe.
- Mexicans are nice, friendly and welcoming, hard to feel alone in their country. There will always be someone ready to show you a road and maybe a good cellar where you can drink a cervecita (beer) while enjoying botanas (appetizers), perhaps with good music in the background.
