A farmer who goes to work every day in a suit and tie. Here is his strange story.
It's called Kiyoto Saito and has become famous for being the most elegant peasant in the world. Every day, in fact, he goes to work in his fields in a suit and tie. Whether with water up to the knees or driving his tractor, his clothing is always impeccable.
The human family has been working the fields in a Japanese town for over 400 years. Initially Kiyoto did not want to follow the family tradition and moved to the city.
A few years ago, however, tired of living in the city, he decided to return to the village where he was born to help out and start a family.
The idea of working in a jacket and tie was born as a joke, given that on his return his brother had teased him about his city habits. Kiyoto, taking the matter seriously and trying to change the perception that many people have of work in the fields, took the ball to invent his own style.
"I want young people to start thinking that being a farmer is fun and that you don't have to be dirty or poor." When people realized that his was not a mockery, but a way to value work in the fields, the whole community started to support it.
