A 33-year-old Irish man was admitted to a hospital in Dublin after having injected himself for a year and a half in his arm, in the belief that this "treatment" is ill.
To make doctors suspicious was the eruptive skin force with swelling concentrated at a point on the arm of the man, who then explained one thing was due.
Dr. Lisa Dunne gave the case on the Irish Medical Journal: "The patient had devised this procedure from any medical advice, and reported having injected a monthly dose of sperm for 18 consecutive months using a hypodermic needle he had purchased online" .
But the injections did not give any benefit to his back. The man underwent surgery to restore the sperm to Adelaide and Meath Hospital in the Irish capital.
Dr. Dunne said it was the first case reported by "seed injection to be used as medical treatment". He admitted that there are cases of people who are injected gasoline or liquid for lighters in the attempt of life, but never with a medical purpose. According to the doctor this case is a demonstration of the risks related to medical experimentation.
